Bahá’í Children’s Education Classes are currently offered at Kensington Primary School.
Bahá’í Children’s Education focuses on the development of spiritual qualities such as justice, love and truthfulness. The curriculum has been developed by the Ruhi Institute, an educational institution whose purpose is to develop human resources dedicated to the spiritual, social and cultural progress of the communities that use its materials. These materials are widely used in schools across Australia and around the world. The teachers, trained volunteers with WA Working with Children Cards, use stories, memorization of prayers and ‘hands-on’ activities like craft, drama and music to teach the curriculum.
The classes are free and all students need written permission from their parents or guardian to attend. Permission slips can be found at the front office.
