EA Appreciation Week - Unsung Heroes
This week we are reminded of all the wonderful work our Education Assistants do in supporting our students to participate in all our programs and take full advantage of every opportunity afforded to them. Without their dedication and amazing efforts, we would not be able to provide the same learning environment that supports all our students in their endeavours to learn effectively and achieve their best. The teaching staff are so grateful for all the support and care that our amazing team of Education Assistants provide. From the regular feedback we receive from the students and parents, their efforts are truly appreciated by all.
Planning for 2025 Survey
It's that time of year again when we start to look at how many students we will have in 2025 and to plan to staff the school to meet those needs. We have created a Microsoft Form to enable you to inform us about whether or not your child is returning in 2025 (current PP – Year 5 students only). You may complete one form (see the link below) for your family. However, if you have differing plans for each of your children currently attending our school (excluding the Year 6s), please complete separate forms for each.
Please complete your forms by Friday 11th October.
Concerns
While we appreciate, and it is important, that we are kept informed about any concerns so that we can manage them, it is vital to take a fair and reasonable approach, focusing on resolving the issues in a confidential and respectful manner, rather than involving the whole community. The Department has created a document that is on our website and always appears on the Forms & Documents section of our newsletter (left column). It is called Connect and Respect (see below). It is vital to remain respectful and solutions focused or risk derailing due process and delaying any resolution. So, I ask for your support in helping to maintain our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive, collaborative and respectful community.
Supporting Your Child's Learning
Readiness for learning is a major influence on future success. We encourage parents to focus on five key ways that give their children a great opportunity to do well in learning: play, talk, read, eat well and sleep.
